I guess I grew up listening to Chris Ledoux music, being a native of Wyoming, and a rodeo cowboy. I also got to work a little with him while announcing high school rodeos, and referring Kaycee Basketball games. He was a great guy, and will be greatly missed.

Though I'm from Ohio his music helped get me through some tough times in the military. I served in Desert Storm and met some friends form out west who introduced me to country and Chris Ledoux. His music will always live on and he will be greatly missed. My prayers go out for his family and their loss.

My heart has been in Wyoming every since hearing of Chris's passing on Wednesday. I was raised on the family ranch at Shoshoni Wy. I remember buying his cassettes at the local coffee shop where we'd stop for coffee after opening ice holes and feeding the cattle. I was in Michigan when Garth's "Much to Young" came out w/ the tribute to Chris in the lyrics--I knew that was really going to put Chris on the music map. So glad Capitol seized on his talent and made him a nationally known singer. 2 wonderful careers in such a short time span--rodeo champion, platinum album c/w singer--how great is that!

Prayers and thoughts with his family--he was a proud Wyoming son!
Sadly "This Is Where The Cowboy Rides Away".

The songs were spectacular, the shows wonderful and the quality of the man was no less than the best! TRUE COWBOY! What a ride, Chris! You will be missed by so many.
