It was an honor to have served with you. You have lead your marines with Honor, Courage, and Commitment. These Values are the imprinted in our hearts from the very beginning. You have set the example for future leaders and will always be remembered. My prayers go out to you and your family. From your your fellow brothers and sisters of CLB2 TS CO we love you Chris.

I knew Chris for about 3 years starting out at WFTBN In cali Together and Coming to CLB-2 In North Carolina, and then deploying together to this awesome country of Afghanistan. The day I was told that Chris Passed was a horrible day I didnt know what to do because me and him were very close and we were supposed to leave here together. I miss him everyday and know that he is now resting peacefully, To his family I am sorry that this has happened and My thoughts and Prayers are with You all.

I did not know Chris or his family. I was at the Veteran Cemetery yesterday, visiting an old friend when Chris arrived. Trying to find my friend, I got lost and was cut off by a long line of cars. From the numbers, I knew it had to be an important person. The cars kept coming. I imagined an older person who lived a long and fruitful life. Another car pulled alonside of me. He had somehow become separated from the procession. He told me it was a young Marine killed last week. Then came the tears and prayers. I am a stranger but my love, thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bless Chris and his family. Rick Romatowski, US Navy Vietnam Era Veteran

It's been said many of times and unfortunately said too many times in tragedy like this, however when it's said by a Marine past or present, it is said with loyalty, respect, love, comradery and care "Semper Fi" to you and your family, Devil Dog. You played an important role that will last forever, keeping the people of our country safe and free. Rest in peace and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service.
