Chris was a dear friend that I was blessed to know and to love throughout our time with GYBSO where he played the French Horn beautifully and I played in the violin section. Although he went to college at Tufts and I went to music school in NY we remained close and spent time together throughout our college days. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. and Mrs. Zarba and his brother Joe at their lovely home after rehearsals. I felt so loved by his family and hoped so often to see Chris and meet his wife and son on one of my return trips to Boston. It was not until I tried to find Chris and his family recently on a trip home to Boston that I discovered his death on 9/11. I was devastated and truly hurt by his loss and the loss his wife, son, brother, Joe. parents and family have endured. Anyone who knew Chris would know and feel a great loss from his passing. He was truly a man who loved life with every moment he lived and I was blessed to know him. It is my hope that if anyone in his family is comfortable with contacting me, you will and I will know how you are and that you will know how much I loved your Chris and his wonderful family. I will pray every day for Chris and his wife and son and their family as well as Chris's family. Know that you are loved by me and that your story has been told to my husband Joel and my two sons, their wives and in time their children. Chris was strong in life and II know remained strong through his passing and in his death. He will never be forgotten. My address is 1752 Dawncrest Drive in West Bloomfield, MI 48324. My heart is always with you.
