I have been blessed to meet and take care of a wonderful gentleman while he stayed with us on 9CCP at UC. I send my condolences to all of his friends and family; I am so sorry for your loss.

I have known the Edmonds family for more than 30 years, and have admired Mr. Edmonds for as long. To see this man care for his children, protect the public, and do it all with the strength and conviction of a real man, a real good man, was truly a sight to behold and admire. So I say what those who knew him already know, the world was made better by your being here, a mentor to young and old, and a friend to all. God bless you my friend, so rest now my brother, your work here is done, but the work you put in will live forever. I know the Lord will surely say to you "well done thy good and faithful servant"

Brother George A. Edmonds, Sr: What a man! What a kind friendly person! What a man of GOD! Brother Edmonds was always clean, always sharp - and the outside was a reflection of the inside because he lived a cleaned and exemplary life. The bible says a deacon should be found blameless and I think this can truly be said of Deacon Edmonds. It's been said "the beauty and strength of love and a sense of humor are the weapons of angels" and without a doubt they were the weapons of George A. Edmonds, Sr. as well. May the ALMIGHTY LORD GOD bless sister Cheryl and the entire Edmonds family at this difficult time.

George was inspirational and instrumental in my decision to become a police officer. As a young man, George was larger than life to me and a fine example of true masculinity.
It can be said of George "Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once."
A good and courageous man, to be sure.
