Kevin Hickey is ahero, to me and many ! He went for the dream and made it happen ! He hit some tough bumps in the road and made it back in a big way! Hick you made Fantasy Camp, Spring Training, and every day better by just being there !

I remember Kevin kicking our butts at Burroughs at wall ball and football. I was a summer visitor from Minnesota. I went to a twins game back in Mpls with my Boys and found Kevin in the bull pen..of course He was great to us. Hi Jimmy...and sorry for your loss.

You will be Greatly missed!! Kevin was my Idol growing up on 35th st. I used to watch him play fast pitch against the wall untill I heard him going for a try-out with the White Sox! The whole Neighborhood was so proud when he "made it"! Kevin lived all of our Dreams as kids! RIP Buddy!

Kevin was a great guy and always a gentleman whever I saw him.I admired the trip he took to the major leagues and the perseverance he displayed to get back with the baltimore Orioles.

Kevin is and always will be the epitome of everything Chicago.. and everything White Sox. When i think of the Sox, the 1st guy i think of is Kevin. A great loss.

Our sympathy to the Hickey Family. My husband and I both went to St. Agnes and my husband went to Kelly H.S. with Kevin. Many good memories of Brighton Park. We enjoyed watching his career and seeing him on the "steps" at Sox Park. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
