Suds, as probably the only extant member of the Oxford University Ice Hockey team of 1948/49, which you and Nick, being married and certainly more mature than the rest of us, sort of parented on our European tour, may I record that you were fun to be with, tolerant of our enthusiasms, such as for the newly published manual on Gamesmanship, "How to Win Games Without Actually Cheating", which Bert McKinnon cherished throughout his judicial career and Al Blakeney his political, and warmly remembered.

You touched so many lives and saved so many more, may you Rest in Peace. I so respect your dedication to this Country. I was only to meet you and your lovely wife once, at our home for Hadley and Kirsten's wedding ..I was so Honored to meet you. My condolences to your family.
