James F. Balon, 74, of Mountain Top entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 8, 2013, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Born in Mount Jewett, he was a son of the late John and Lillian Balon.
James retired from RCA Corp., Mountain Top, where he had been employed for 37 years.
He was an avid hunter for the majority of his life.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Greenwald; nephew, Robert Mix; and niece, Linda Parr.
He is survived by his sons, Richard Balon and his wife, Diane, and Michael Balon, all of Mountain Top; grandchildren, Mykenzie and Jazmin Balon; sister, Donna Sleepy, Pittsfield; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family and are under the direction of McCune Funeral Home, Mountain Top.

So sorry to hear about uncle jimmy....he is now in heaven with grandma and grandpa in no pain walking tall. He will be sadly missed by Aunt Donna she talked to him every day some times twice..loved him very much. Aunt Donna,Barb, Mary and Lori
