"Most men, they'll tell you a story straight through. It won't be complicated, but it won't be interesting either." -Big Fish

As many of you know, my grandfather was one of the best story tellers around. His autobiography, Shine, Mister?, can attest to that. However, there was nothing like hearing his stories in person with all the extra flavor he gave them. I will always cherish the memories I have of listening to my grandfather tell his stories, along with all the other precious memories, like when he would turn me into a pizza and play "round ball, round ball" with me as a little girl. These are things I will remember forever and proudly pass on to my own children one day.

To the best grandpa that all the seven seas have ever seen,
You are always loved, never forgotten, and my thumb buddy forever.

On behalf of my family please accept our deepest condolences on your loss. Nathan's legacy will always be remembered by the De Robertis clan of Australia for his generosity when meeting his uncle Michele (my deceased grandfather) at a time of need. Rest in peace.

Uncle Nate, when I was a child, you taught me to ride a bike, swim, and sing silly songs. As I grew, you taught me important life lessons. Through my entire life, you were always an encouragement to me. So much so that I named my son for you. I love you and I will see you again because God's promises do not return void! Thank you for the stories!!! All my love , little Kathy

Rest in peace Uncle Nate, I will always remember your strong handshakes and big smile. It was an honor knowing you, and I will miss our conversations. I may even route for the Yankees once in a while, just for you. God bless, and say hello to my Dad. Until we meet again, you will be missed.

You are the most amazing man I have ever known, more than an Uncle who welcomed me to live in your home and treated me like a daughter. Always having the right words to say, the best advice and always the best stories. I love you and will miss you dearly.
