Gonna miss "The Big Man", RIP
June 18, 2011
RIP Clarence. I can't believe you are gone. I can't imagine you not on stage with the boss. The music world has suffered a huge loss. Today the music has died.

He was never more brilliant than in the Brenda Lee video of "That's All You Gotta Do." Legendary indeed. God bless his memory.

You will be missed. You captured a spirit and a time of my youth that will never be visited again. You created romanticized visions of being with someone you love the moment your sax came forth. Thank you. Sincerest condolences to Mr. Clemons' family and loved ones.

Your energy and style will be greatly missed. There is a void in the E-Street band that can never be filled. My sympathies to your family and the band.

Will truly miss Clarence. Will always remember him smiling. A very happy man. His love of life, people and music will shine on.

I am so sad. Thank you for your wonderful music. Jungleland has pulled me through my darkest days. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I will never forget your performance Mr. Clemmons in Lantana, FL at a club on Federal Highway several years ago. I cannot remember the name of the venue as it no longer exists. You were magnificent as was Randy Fishenfeld who started the second set playing her electric violin in the dark. Then the spotlight was turned onto her as she sat at the top of the huge PA system, sitting on the edge, jamming like no tomorrow!!! R.I.P. BIG MAN!!! I WILL MISS YOU!!!

The Big Man lives on, always in our hearts.
