What a woman! What a talent! I was born in the '50's and remember very young, my mother playing Ms Page's 45's on the record player. What wonderful memories! My mother passed away Nov. 14, and Ms Page died Jan. 1.

Patti, I loved your voice; don't know a singer who could take your place. The Tennessee Waltz and Old Cape Cod can never be sung quite the way you sung them. God Bless you. Marylou from Cape Cod, Massachusetts

It was Old Cape Cod. Popular in the late 50's. My husband and my favorite song when we were dating. Patti Page was my favorite singer, all time. I was a dancer and singer named Patty I changer my y to I after her. My maiden name and married name both also started with a P. I didn't know Patti Page wasn't her real name back then. I sang some of her songs, but not like she could. She was the greatest. So sorry she's gone, but will never be forgotten, at least thru this century, I hope and never by me.
