To the family of this great man,Your father did what had to be done with no quarrels.He knew what was at stake and did it proudly and with dignity.He was one of the unsung heros being he flew under Doolittle.You did your country proud,your family and yourself.May a piece of you surface one day and touch the younger generation as to what it took.Thank you sir for your service and now you may stand down in total piece knowing you did yourself proud.

What a hero. My Dad was a engineer on a B24 and spent time in a German Prison Camp so I heard first hand what a debt we owe the Greatest Generation. My thanks and prayers are with you and your family.

Thank you sir! We have never met, however, I need to thank you for what you did for our country. You are the epitome of what a true hero is...not an athlete, not an actor or actress...but a person that made a significant contribution to the well being of our country. We will forever be indebt to you for your sacrifices. So long old soldier!
