To The Yamin Family:
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Your Mom was one special lady.

Elliott, Scott and Jodi,
Just know that it will get easier as time goes by even though it doesn't seem that it will right now. I know the pain of losing a mother and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her. As you said Elliott, she is in your heart and in your soul and will be for the rest of your life. Take this time to reflect on all the good times you've shared which will keep her memory alive forever.

To the Yamin family,

I never had the privilege of meeting your mother. Like countless millions, we were able to connect with her when American Idol would show her on TV. While your hearts may be breaking, please know that prayers are being said for this wonderful woman all over the world.

Elliott, we fell in love with you first on AI, then we were introduced to Claudette and fell in love with her too. I had the privledge of getting to know Claudette. She was an amazing woman. She loved her children so very much. My heart aches for your loss and the sadness you are feeling. Stay grounded as she would want you to....her smile will always remain with us along with her loving memory.
