Dear Friends and Family, thank you so much for all your expressions of condolence after the loss of our Mom. Please know that we are having a Memorial Service for Mom at 11am on Saturday, August 31, at the United Church in Idaho Springs. We look forward to celebrating Mom's life, and working toward healing the wound of her very sudden and unexpected loss. Thank you, Meg, Chip and Katie Stiff

My friend, I will miss your wisdom, your fine writing and your love for the Spanish culture. I will never forget your help while I struggled with my papers at UT. I was looking for your number and found your obituary. I want to call you after that precious Christmas photo you sent about the bear in your fence. I guess I will comment on your message when I see you again somewhere. Thanks for being in my life.

Sis, It doesn't seem possible you have slipped away. I'll never forget your frequent phone calls announcing "Hi, Willie, this is your sister" and your visits where you always found something to do to help my wife Karen and me inside our home or outdoors in the woods. Your love of flowers, nature, the mountains, and especially the folks of Idaho Springs, which was still home even after years away. Sure am going to miss you! Love always, Brother Bill
