AMADEE PROVANCE Obituary

PROVANCE AMADEE M. "BEAU" PROVANCE JR., age 89, of North Olmsted went home to be with the Lord on May 13, 2013. Beau was born January 30, 1924 in Ronco, PA to the late Amadee and Catherine (nee Murray) Provance. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in Gen. George S. Patton's Third Army in "The Battle of the Bulge" where he earned many military awards including the Purple Heart. He loved walking, old classic movies, sports, hunting and fishing. He was a welder by trade and enjoyed repairing old TV's. Beloved husband of Laverne (nee Westfall); dearest father of Clint, Lisa Myers, Edward, Ellen Somers, Amadee III, Kathy Provance, Robert, Lilly Provance (all of Ohio) and also Joyce Pramuk, Danny Provance, Susie Clark (all of PA) and Dr. Gerry Provance of LA; dear grandfather and great grandfather to many; brother of Kenny, June Harkins, Jean Perella, Mary Catherine Wallace, Veronica Klink and the following deceased: James, Margaret Beatty, Patricia Havanas, Janet Thomas and Audrey Preamble. Friends received at THE ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 923 BROADWAY, BEDFORD (ONE MILE WEST OF FORBES-BROADWAY EXIT OF I-271) THURSDAY 3 - 5 P.M. where a closing service will be held 5 P.M. Burial Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH, Monday, May 20 at 10 A.M.
