I moved to Marblehead from Rocky River over 12 years ago, but never forgot my time at Sweet Caroline's. The very first time I was moving my things in, I set off the alarm. The police arrived, had a few laughs with Carole on the phone and made me promise to learn how to set the alarm correctly. Looking at all those "things" was such a fun time in my life. I was very small-scale compared to Carole-I don't know how she kept track of everything. Anyway, I've since moved to South Carolina and while visiting a shop in Avon, I heard that Carole was Ill. My thoughts go out to you Bob and your family. I am very lucky to have met the Nelson's. Sue Phelps

Dear Bob and Family, Carole was a "firecracker." I loved her sense of humor and her twist on life. She was my coach during chemo and we laughed about life with no hair. I will always remember her. She leaves this world with a little less light, but many sweet memories. I am so sorry for your loss.
