Missing my friend ....
January 10, 2013
Colleen brought to Cleveland that New York savvy and an inescapable cool that struck you upon being in her presence. She was fully engaged in life. We had a wonderful lunch, bump ins at PlayHouse Square events...always a champion for education and children. Sadly, i did not know of her illness or passing until i saw the Plain Dealer notable deaths for 2012.

Colleen was an extremely talented performer and a warm, wonderful and funny human being. I'm so sorry that I lost touch, over 26 years ago...Thanks for leaving so many wonderful memories behind! Much love and sympathy to Roalf, Emily and the rest of the family!

I was Colleen's roommate at the Cleveland Clinic when she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She made my 8 days at the Clinic bearable. She was funny, warm, sweet, and we talked about everything. I can't tell you how sad this makes me. When I left I wanted so badly for her to survive. I wish I would have known her sooner. I wish I could have known her longer. She was one of the coolest women I have ever met.
