CARQUE FRED CARQUE, age 91, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Lakes of Monclova. He was born on January 16, 1923 to Louis and Zella (Vivian) Carque in St. Louis, Missouri. Fred's life was in service to others, having served in the Marine Corps in the South Pacific during WWII and then as a Fire Fighter In Cleveland, Ohio from 1950 until 1975. He was interested in tracking his genealogy, computers and playing poker. Fred was a Mud Hens fan and enjoyed golfing and dancing. He is survived by his daughters, Denise Carque and Terri (Matt) Schultz; son, Fred Carque; grandchildren, Erin (Matt) Kosanovich; Craig (Darcie) Schultz; Tyler Carque; Jordan Carque; Ian Carque and Grant Carque; great-grandchildren, Claire and Anna Kosanovich; and Caleb Schultz; brother, Frank Carque; special sister-in-law, Joan (Paul) Lang and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Antoinette. The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Lakes of Monclova for their loving care and support. Friends and family will be received at the MAISON-DARDENNE-WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, Ohio on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
