I am so sorry to hear of Don's passing. We had some very memorable funny times together. He will be missed.
Don was a man's man, a devoted Catholic, a loving husband, a loving father and a loving grandfather. He was also a coach to be remembered, a knowledgeable carpenter with remarkable insights on building almost anything and a friend for life to an uncountable assembly of people. His smile and jovial manner will be missed most and his contributions to the lives of others will certainly be right at the top of his list of good deeds in this life. We are sure that he will be welcomed in the Kingdom of God and will be part of a celebration that will be ongoing as a result of his arrival in Heaven. You could always tell that Don loved and admired his wife Charlotte and his children because he always had nice things to say about them. Our only regret is that we failed to keep in touch after moving out of Solon.
Our condolences to the entire family...he will always be remembered in our thoughts and prayers.

Carla and the Giardino family. I am so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Although we may not have seen each other much over the years, you have always had a special place in my heart. I will never forget the stories and laughs we shared. May you find peace, knowing he's gone to a better place. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Such sweet memories...growing up together on 177th st. in Cleveland...Donnie, Aunt Helen, Uncle Nick and yes, Rex their dog. My brother Ron and Don..dubbed "Double Dynamite" by Uncle Nick. My cousin Don...I wish we could go back...at least for a little while.Your kidding was always funny and said with a smile. Hard to believe I'll not see that again. Love to Charlotte, Don's children and grandchildren.

My husband and I send our condolences to the family. We remember Don as a caring, loving and positive man. He always made us laugh. He made Home Days so much fun during the Smercina administration, helping us set up the tents etc. He was truly a great person in every sense of the word.
