What can be said about Roger that his friends do not already know? He was the kind of person that would walk into the room and change the energy of everyone there, just lighting them up.
I can remember visiting my Dad at the Fire Station and Roger would always pop out of "nowhere" and always make me laugh. My Dad, and the others on his shift had such great admiration for his dedication to his job and "call to duty." My Dad would always come home with more "Roger" stories. He helped save many lives and brought joy and laughter to many more.
I am so grateful to have known Roger and been a small part of his life . I extend my deepest condolences to his family.
He was truly "one-of-a-kind"
