There is a rent in the tapestry of the soul of the world with the loss of this gentle, passionate, giant of a man. His presence among us inspired moral courage and by his example, he taught us the true meaning of justice and respect for all in life. May his soul now rest in the perfect peace he so faithfully championed, embraced in the fullness of God's love and ours.
