Sister would come into the kitchen at St.Columbkille for her usual lunch of chicken noodle soup and a chicken patty sandwich. Sister loved being with the kindergarten and first grade students. .

Sister Margaret was the Director of the Preschool when our son, Patrick attended. She always showed genuine concern and interest in our son and our family, even in the years after she retired when we saw her at functions around Notre Dame. A woman clearly dedicated to Catholic education and the service of others. We will miss her.

I knew Sister Margaret at St. Columbkille when I was stationed there. She was esteemed by all as a consummate Catholic educator. Her life and dedication affected many, many people. May God grant her eternal rest and welcome her into the halls of the saints. Please be assured of my prayers.
Sincerely,
