I wish to express my condolence to the entire Saffold family for your loss of Rodger, who I've had the pleasure of knowing since our high school days. I encourage you to remember and hold on to all the dear things he said, did, and the resemblance of him in others, even if they bring tears to your eyes, a lump in your throat, or warmth to your chest and know that these/this are the real meanings, feelings and true signs of "life after death". Know that when we remember a person they are still alive and living in us!
I also wish you wellness, blessings, hugs, kisses, but most of all "LOVING" memories of Rodger, especially at this time as you gather and share your loss of Rodger.

Roger was all class and dignity. My sincere condolences to his friends and family. He'll be the best dressed guy to walk through those pearly gates.

We met Rodger and Donna in 1998 when we joined Dock of the Bay Yacht Club in Sandusky, OH. Rodger was the heart and soul of the organization and never ceased to offer his time, talent and energy. He was also a welcoming person who made Peggy and I feel part of a wonderful group of people. His arms and heart were always open to all he came in contact almost all the way to the end. He will brighten heaven with his infectious smile and our lives will be a little dimmer with his passing. Smooth seas and safe harbors Rodger. We will miss you.
