Mike,
Thoughts are with you and your family during this time! Hoping you find comfort in one another and in the memories you hold of your father.

Barb and Mike...sad but still smiling back at all the memories, from Vegas Trade Shows to late-night half-priced appetizer marathons at Applebees...if it weren't for Roy I'd never know there was a pumpkin festival in Barnesville, Ohio or have the thrill of almost winning a million dollars while walking through the Las Vegas Hilton (we did win free tickets to the buffet) ...by far, Roy was the most engaging man I ever met on this planet...with a great ear for music, biting wit, and a contagious smile, he always disarmed and infected everyone around him with his genuine love and care...I pray that the joy of knowing the reunion that Christ guarantees us will soon replace the sorrow we all feel today...as the song goes..."we'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when, but I know we'll meet again some sunny day", praying for your comfort and peace until then...

Barb, "I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your beloved husband, Roy. My memory of a man who loved a Samosky Bakery Nut Roll!! I being the guilty provider of them leaves me smiling to this day! May the memories of your life together on this earth carry you through these days until you meet again ... Sending you heartfelt sympathy, hugs and comforting prayers. With Love~ Deborah Halko

Roy was 2 years ahead of me at Fairview High School and became my best friend in those days. My fondest memory was driving around Berea in his Pontiac LeMans with an onboard police radio, pretending we were from the CKLW 20/20 news team, later reporting the news at WBWC at Baldwin Wallace College. Roy was a very, very unique dude and I loved him for that.
