I worked with Clovis a short time at Wachovia bank,I remember him always being so nice and trying to help me out with any goals I needed to meet for the month. The one thing we did have in common was Im an identical twin myself. I was talking with a friend of mine who was in the military and also deployed, even after its been a year or more I thought of Clovis Ray and how he made an impact on me he was an all around great person. Thank you for having the courage to serve our country you will always be remembered.

To the family of 2nd Lt. Clovis T. Ray:
Clovis gave the ultimate sacrifice and will be held in the hearts of Americans forever. I cannot and will not let our fallen heroes be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to you. "Some gave all."

I made a poster at school remembering the soldiers that passed away fighting for our country. Since we were able to choose our person, i stumbled upon Mr. Ray's story and found it very touching. Since it has almost been his one year anniversary, i would just like to wish his family the best and send them my prayers. Rest in peace Mr. Ray (: thank you for what you have done

I met Clovis during the first week I was on campus as Macalester. He was so welcoming and easy to get along with. My friendship with him would last thoughout our years at Macalester. I remember him lending a shoulder to cry on, always there when you needed a friend. I remember him being the most loyal brother to his twin and also to his teammates at Macalester. I remember his ability show up and create a party atmosphere with his huge personality and smile. He was an eternal motivater, always pushing those who knew him to be their best while pushing himself at the same time. I was so lucky to be touched by his friendship. May you rest in peace, I look forward to seeing you again in heaven.
