I was fortunate enough to meet Joe Murray a decade or more ago, coincident to publication of his autobiography, and subsequently have enjoyed and profited from his company on several occasions, including the centennial of the Nobel Prizes in Stockholm. His was a uniquely warm, welcoming, totally informed personality. A projection of his faith. He will be sorely missed by a multitude of friends and acquaintances. My condolences to Bobby and his extended family

While I never met Dr. Murray, his work with living donor transplants allowed my brother to donte a kidney to me 8 years ago. I am so grateful for his life, and his lifelong dedication to his work. Thank you Dr. Murrary. Rest in a well earned peace.
