Thank you everyone for all of your words of encouragement. I cannot speak on the man that you all knew my grandfather for. It warms my heart that so many people view him as the superman I have always saw him to be. There is not a day that passes that I do not think of him. I will forever be his sweetpea and him my Big Daddy.

TO THE CURTIS FAMILY YOU HAVE OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY. THE BLACK FAMILY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM.
SINCERELY,

People enter your life for a reason, season or a lifetime. Mr. Curtis managed to do all three. Although I did not see him after leaving Gray many years ago, (Jones County High School Class of 1981) he continues to impact my life through the lessons and values he taught me and demonstrated. God bless your family.

Deepest sympathy to all of the Curtis family. Mr. Curtis was principal of JCHS during my time there 1978-1981. He was a great principal, inspiration and influence on the lives of so many students.

May your memories sustain you during your time of grief.

May God bless the Curtis family. MR. Curtis was a good man, one that ruled the Jones Co. High School halls well. He didn't have to paddle you, but one time that was enough. He touched many so many lives. R.I.P. Mr. Curtis.

There are no words to explain the heavy heart for loosing such a great man. However, may the angels enjoy him as much as we did on earth.
