SSG Shupert, Christopher R.
Dear Mrs Sainsbury, please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your dearest beloved Christopher. Ours will be a little more sadder world this day knowing that your good Son has gone on to fulfill his mission with the Great Commander; he will highly thought of as a good man and defender of our nation. Please continue to let his precious Daughter know what a fine Dad he was and let her know that he will always be her special Angel.
You always had a smile on your face and made the best of every day. You will truly be missed by all. Thinking of your loved ones through this time of hardship.
So sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.
Hello Ma'am, my name is SSG Lary and station in Korea and was reading the safety reports the Army reports. I readed the article about your son and so sorry for your lost and for another brother in arms who we lost as well. I pray his daughter recovers fully, and may God watch over her and your entire family now and forever. May God bless you all during the Holidays as you all go through this time!
So very Sorry for your Loss, he is with the Lord now.Continue to pray. May God Bless you and your family.
So very sorry for your loss. Your son's service is greatly appreciated.
Chris was such a wonderful person. It's not fair to lose such a good man at such a young age. He accomplished so much, though, during his lifetime. He will live on through the happiness he brought to everyone and the memories shared.
I was at the cemetery the day of the funeral. If you will contact me I have a special gift for you and your family. I don't know how to reach you.
Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting your son, and do not yet know you very well myself, you have touched my son's life in the very short time you have known him. At his age there are very few people a boy wants to let in his life, and whether you know it or not, he has welcomed you with an open heart. If the way you have impacted my son is even the tiniest reflection of the way you raised Christopher and molded his life, his time here on Earth was not unlike what Heaven must be.
With heartfelt sympathy & love
I am so sorry for you loss. I knew Chris when he was attending Del Oro, and he was by far the sweetest and nicest person I ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was a friends to everyone. My deepest condolences for your loss.
I am deeply saddened that I am too far away to be there today...I am filling today with thoughts, pictures, music, and memories of you. I am sharing your spirit with those around me here. I am smilling with the warmest thoughts of you. You will always be with us, always.
May this promise help you cope with your tremendous loss.(Isaiah 2:4) . . .And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore. . .
Susan and family; I am so sorry I had to miss Christopher's (aka Max) service today. May you all find Peace in knowing that our Father has another purpose for him and called him because He needs Christopher's help. Bless you all.
Susan and family, We are so sorry for your loss. May you be comforted by happy memories. Our prayers are with all of you.

You are an adventure hardened spirit and may your newest adventures be ever exciting.

You were an awesome friend in high school always laughing and making joke I know we
Saw each other a few times after high school. But you were busy fighting for our country and freedom. You were always there to cheer us up if we were having a bad day. My prayers and thoughts go out to your family and daugher. You will be miss buddy but know you are looking down on your family to keep them safe
Christopher, you were a true blue friend. Your heart, lightning quick wit, and warm humor always lifted me up. Our families grew together and you are apart of my happiest childhood memories. You always seemed to phone right when I needed you most and I admire you more than anyone I have known. Your friendship and love was enduring and unconditional and you were often the only one I could truly be myself with, especially through rough times. Thank you for singing country songs and Louis Armstrong to me over the phone, for making me smile and for being an amazingly charming and bright young man. I am blessed to have known you! I am missing you terribly. Thank you for serving our country. Thank you for your beliefe in me and for making all around you feel so special and unique in your eyes. I love you forever Christopher. Susan, Elliot, and Leah we are thinking of you and I send you all of my love.
To Christopher's family, I was proud to stand the flag line for Christopher as he returned to Sacramento on 11/30/2012, I will be equally as honored to stand for him again tomorrow 12/4/2012. To his mom Susan, his family and friends, I pray that god give you all the strength to live with your tragic loss. To Christopher I thank you for your service to our nation, and I only wish I had the opportunity to meet you, from what your other friends as saying here, you were a remarkable young man. Rest In Peace Soldier, your watch is ended, but don't worry, we have the watch now.
Thought my interaction with Chris was limited to youth group in high school, I will always remember Chris as a gentle hearted and sweet person. He always struck me as warm and friendly, and you could see he cared deeply for his friends. I love to see that in people. He will be missed by many. Even in my limited interaction with him, he will leave his mark!
Dear Susan and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this season of loss. May you feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. We pray that God heals your aching hearts and that you experience His grace and peace.
I remember spending my first Italian Thanksgiving with Christopher and he was the first soldier we ever had over to our house for dinner. He made our house feel more like home. He was a sweet and kind man and I am proud to have called him a friend. My husband and I are saddened by his loss and I have nothing but prayers for his entire family.
Although I did not know your son it is obvious from his huge smile that he was a very caring and loving person.I would like to thank him and his family for your huge sacrifice and for all that he has done for our country.I pray that God heals your aching hearts and helps you to get through each day after your tremendous loss. May God bless you and watch over you.
Hi Susan, Elliott, and Leah. I bragged on Christopher to all my friends with sons serving in the military, and I know what a tough soldier he turned out to be. I am so proud of him! We need more like him, not less. Our hearts are broken with yours. See you Tuesday.

The Final Salute
“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Christopher Blake Sainsbury our “Brother-in-Arms”. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Christopher. And to Christopher it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedoms while deployed with the U.S. Army. Christopher, you are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace.
On behalf of the 1,261 military veteran Legionnaires of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Christopher's family and loved ones.

Susan, so very sorry you lost your son. As tragic and life changing as it was to lose Jim, I can't begin to imagine losing our son Anthony. Be strong, take care of yourself and your family. Try to think of the favorite memories that make you smile when you think of him.
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Words cannot express a mother's sorrow. My heart aches for you and your family. My condolences and prayers go out to you.
