I remember Paul as the fun uncle who was my Grandpas best freind(Eugene Riddle). While visiting one summer I went to see my Grandpas new church that was being built. I was watching Grandpa and Uncle Paul work high on ladders in the main sanctuary when I became distracted by a roll of roofing tar paper. I placed it on a dolly and began to run around when I fell through an opening in the cement. I don't remember any details after that except one; on the way to the hospital I woke up for a moment in the back of grandpas car, opened my eyes for a couple seconds and Uncle Paul was holding me in his arms. I don't remember what he was saying but I remember feeling safe and loved.

My Uncle Paul was a quiet loving man. He gave of his time and excellent contractor abilities to his church and his family. To his family we pray:
May God bless you...keep you...and give you His peace.
Most lovingly,
His niece,

My brother Paul was hard working and took pride in whatever he did we lived far apart in different states so we didn,t have a lot of time together. He was a top gunner on the New Jersy battle ship in WW2.He would never talk about it. He will be missed and now is in heaven with God and our family that has passed on.

In my family there were five boys and one girl(me) Paul was the third bother. He was an outstanding carpenter at a very young age. God gave him this talent. He made me a tiny dresser with drawers. On Christmas morning I looked down the stairs and saw the tree trimmed with popcorn and cranberries. Under the tree was that beautiful little dresser!!
It is the most beautiful Christmas I have had. Paul has built libraries, banks houses a church and many other things. Yes he used his talents for God and others. We will meet you again in heaven dear Paul!! Love, your only sister Ruth Riddle

When I graduated high school, my parents bought me a round trip ticket to California to visit my cousins, Aunt Sadie, and Uncle Paul. It is one of the most memorable weeks of my life. Paul took me to the church he built, to San Francisco, and to Santa Cruz beach, boardwalk and amusement park. It was a wonderful week spent with family that has continued to inspired me to be good to others, and to give of oneself. Rest in Peace Uncle Paul. I will see you again someday.
