Our deepest sympathy to the families of the brave 19 of the Granite Mountain Hot Shots. Our prayers and thoughts will be with you forever - we will never forget the 19 brave men, their families and the survivor, Brendan. We feel connected to the wildland firefighting family of Prescott. Our son and daughter-in-law are ex hot shots, helitak and presently work in management for the Forest Service at the Prescott fire center. My son was on site at the Yarnell Hill Fire directing air operations and instrumental in getting the men off the hill and home to Prescott. We visit Prescott often since 1992 and consider all the firefighters there our family. May God bless you all and keep you in the palm of HIS hand. We will think of you and pray for all of you every day forever. BE SAFE.

Thank you all 19 heroes, RIP my Brothers

My heart is so heavy and I can't find the right words to express my sorrow for the family and friends of the Granite Mountain Hotshots. I thank these men for their bravery and sacrifice. I pray for those they left behind. I also pray for the lone survivor. His hurt is like none other for he lost nineteen brothers in a matter of minutes. Like them, he is a hero. Let us not forget and take for granted the first responders that run towards danger instead of away.

Thinking of these valiant men today as we stood in a moment of silence. As a Forestry worker this sadness really hits home. Love and strength to their families and friends.
