Whenever we attended an event at "Dottie's" and Art's Valley Country Club, I would never fail to stop and talk to Mr. Donovan. One time he mentioned he was under strict orders from his doctor to limit his beer drinking to one six pack a day. He laughed and pulled up six "quarts" from behind the bar. We visited with him on this pas June 22. He was in bad shape and it was very difficult to understand him. I reminded him of his six pack comment and he held my hand and smiled that he remembered it.

Heaven just became an even more delightful place.

Art did a one day engagement for my company at our annual golf tournament one year. The funniest person that I ever met. After the event was over he and his teammate Art Spinney went back to his hotel with two dozen hamburgers and hotdogs with a case of Schlitz. I still laugh St his after dinner speech. The greatest.
