While we were family and yet never met I was always proud to say you were family. The stories I hear about you are heart warming. You were a terrific coach, father, brother, and most importantly husband. Thank you for the autographs you sent to me. They mean so much to me, more than you will ever know. You and your entire family will forever be in my prayers. God Bless you, and rest in peace.

Chuck was a good player, great coach and an exemplary man. He never received the acclaim he deserved mainly because he never sought it. He was a true teammate and his passing be mourned.

Marianne, I'm sorry for your loss. My condolences. Chuck was at the top of his class. The most intimidating thing playing the Steelers was not the Steel Curtain Defense but it was knowing you had to play against a Chuck Noll coached team. That was frightening. Vince Ferragamo Super Bowl XIV
