Because of his son, Steve, we became so close to Dale in emails, phone talks and thoughts. Dale was such a special person. He will be missed, but never forgotten - not only for who he was, but for his great service in WWII. The glorious part of his passing is that he and Carolyn are together! We know that she and the Lord welcomed Dale with open arms.

I am very sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort be with you during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
My heartfelt condolences to the family during this time of sorrow. (1Corinthains 15:26) (Isaiah 61:1,2) Please find peace in knowing that He understands your grief and He cares. 1 Peter 5:6, 7

My husband and I don't look at what we lost...we see what we gained by knowing Dale. His love of life, friendship, and his wonderful family that was apparent every time he spoke. Our memories will be his warmth, his red sweater, his smile, his love of hockey, his faith, and the chair he sat in to be closer to Carolyn. Every day we feel blessed to have been a part of his life. Dale WILL be missed, but NEVER forgotten. We will always love you!!

Dale was my mentor for many years. I learned a lot about the oil business, but more importantly, I became a better father, husband and man because of Dale. Thank you my friend. Enjoy eternity with your beloved Carolyn.

I want to send my condolences to the Harrison family on the passing of your loved one. i had only met Dale a few times but always found him to be friendly and pleasant to visit with. Surely wish Jim and I could have gotten to know him better. He and Carolyn raised a wonderful family and I have one of their sons in my family now.

Dale was the kindest gentlest man I knew. He and I had both been in the oil and gas industry and both of us moved our families quite a bit.
He was proved correct in our frequent discussions about the industry and it's impact on the world and national economy, when I looked back.
I respect him as a common: friend, colleague, believer in Christ, and leader in his field of endeavor. He will be greatly missed, but now he is safe in the arms of Jesus and enjoying time with Carolyn there,
Last night we visited with Luccile and she remembered him fondly for his care of windows and orphans as "pure and unspoiled" christianity.

You will be missed, but we know you are in a better place.
