We. Bob, Myself and others, were attending our weekly lunch at Doyle's in J.P. and Bob was recounting some of his experienced when he was AG. I said to him: "Bob, unless you write those down, they will be lost when you go! "I can't. Not yet anyway! When can you" "When the Statue of Limitations runs out."

To the Quinn Family: I am late in hearing the news of Bob's death and I wish to express my condolescenes. I think that the last time I spoke to Bob was about 1980. At that time he had an office on Beacon Street. We sat and talked of Dorchester and he related to me a story of his youth. When he was just a toddler his sister and my mother [Margaret (Ramsey) Walsh] would take him to Upham's corner to the drug store and sit him on a stool at the ice cream counter. Needly to say my family always spoke high of him. God Bless, Richard Walsh

Dear Claudina,

My deepest sympathy and condolences---I have been in Haiti down at CRUDEM and just returned---I am soooo very sorry to hear about Bob! I'm also sorry I couldn't be there personally to express my regret and give you a big hug! Although I only knew Bob through Malta, I felt I knew him even longer once my Dad sang his praises when I mentioned him awhile back. I hope they are swapping stories again now together in heaven. I am mostly in NY these days since my husband took a new job with Quest Diagnostics in NJ, but occasionally get back to Boston area. Please take good care of yourself and I look forward to seeing you soon in the future. With warmest, heartfelt condolences, Deb O'Hara-Rusckowski

Our deepest sympathy to Mrs. Quinn and Family... We were so sorry to hear that Bob has passed. He will always hold a special place in my heart as I worked for Bob for a year in the Speaker's office and the Attorney General's office. I was an MRM graduate and was hired by him with Mother Superior's high recommendation. Both Bob and Mrs. Quinn attended our wedding in the fall of '68 and he danced with me at our reception in Lynn. Such a wonderful memory of such a wonderful man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. God Bless...
