Apostles Peter and Paul, Capt. Alfred Dreyfus, Willie Louis; voices from the past that have had a profound effect on our past, present, and future; without their courage we would be a soul-less, loathing mass.

May God Bless You All. May Mr. Louis Rest in Eternal Peace. He was a brave man. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

He will suffer no more, and now he's free! Surely his name has been written down in the Lamb's Book of Life for trusting in God all of his life after such a tragedy regarding Emmit Till.

How well I remember that lynching. I was a little girl living in New York and that was the talk of the day. But when you're little and don't quite understand all of the facts, it was frightening!

Mr. Louis fought a Good Fight, He kept the Faith and finished his Course. Now there awaits for him is a Crown of Righteousness.

Thank God for a man who was willing to give up his life to help make what happened to Emmit Till right. His testimony bore fruit and indeed his life was not in vain.

Dear Willie;

you were a very brave man, with more character than most people will ever have.
You never forgot young emmett till and the horrible death he suffered.

your bravery clearly demonstrated and personified the statement, "do the right thing".

god bless you and your family.

May your soul rest in peace. It was a courageous thing for you to tell the truth about what you witnessed. It not only set you free, but it was a great relief for Emmett's mother, as well.

Rest in Peace,
