Mom with her first born grandson, Rod Duet, in Canon Beach, Oregon. We were in Canon Beach attending Lydia Young Lehner's wedding. Mom was always reading about and learning things, interested, and open-minded. Miss her terribly.

My deepest sympathy to the Hartley family. Please know that God is aware of what you're going through and can strengthen you during this difficult time. May you take comfort in His promise to provide a wonderful future for those in His memory. Hosea 13:14

Your mom had such adventurous and full life. I know she passed on many wonderful memories and life lessons to all who knew her. I wish I could have known her more.

I have heard so much about Katie's mom over the many years of my and Katie's friendship that she became familiar to me, and if I remember correctly, I met her once in Katie's home in Columbia, Mo when her mom was visiting. Katie, you look so much like your mother in this picture of her. What a wonderful legacy she left to all of you for a life well lived and what a nice sharing of her adventurous life the family has described for her here. My prayers and condolences are with the family and with my friend Katie and her children. God bless!

I got to know Edith in our investment club. She had a brilliant mind & great sense of humor. I still remember her advice on oil stocks.

We also connected through aviation.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Your Mom was a wonderful sweet woman that loved her husband and children, she is a great inspiration to all to follow. She safe in the arms of Jesus now where there's no more pain ,sorrow, or tears, we will continue to pray for comfort and peace for the family as they miss there mother here on earth.

Grannie with first born grandson, Rod Duet. She was quite the gal, learning all the time, interested, with an open mind. Miss you mom. Loving the Arizona sunshine. Mom loved her travels. Mom kept her old phone for years. We still have it. Here she is sitting in her garage talking to one of us.
