I grew up listening to his songs and will always love them. He will be sadly missed by many. Dawn Fulmer, Perth Australia
I was a young child, and my father had a Chrysler New Yorker that as long as a city block. Every time he started it, the Slim Whitman 8 track went in. Today at 43 , I can still see and hear him coming down the road. I grew up listening to Slim. I liked it then and like it now. Hate to hear that we lost such a talanted man. I think I might listen to Slims CD today
I was lucky enough to see this wonderful artist live on stage, some years ago. He stood on stage all in white, with the sparkle of his suit flashing, his voice so clear, and I felt so proud to be in the company of such a man. An image that has never faded over these many years. A star then and a star even more today....
