I think about my friend often. We met when Memphis Blues baseball team came to town 1967. Bill introduced the 2 batboys. He covered all the games & we visited a lot at the Blues Stadium. Time went by & he came to me about another job. Bill introduced me to the golf retail world so I left the Blues baseball team. He was a second Father. :)

It's 5 years today and I'm still thinking of you my friend

5 Years today and I still miss him.

We started as neighbors to Bill & Frances and became good friends. My personal relationship with Bill could probably fill a book and can be simply summed up as "Special Fun Times." Although we'd been out of touch for a number of years, please know that his passing is a sadness shared. My condolences to his wife and Frances.

I agree with "Just a Friend". I doesn't seem like Bill's been gone 3 years. We really do miss his honesty, as well as his stories. We sure miss your luncheons. Hope you watching over all of us.
Your Friend, Joanne

I still have my moments where I think "I should call Bill" but at that same moment I painfully realize that I can't call him anymore...
It's been 3 years today since he left us and I still miss him.
I'll never let you part Bill, because you're always in my heart.

I'm very sad to know the Bill passing. From Patagonia, in Argentina, bless for this rich soul, that I knew in a brief four days in 1.984 when he was my host for Rotary Club, like a invited journalist for an study group. My greetings for Conni and the children, for the memory of this real gentleman. Daniel Alonso, from Argentina.

2 Years ago already! It seems like only yesterday we were reading "Drivel" and hoping Bill would write his "Drivel" book for everyone!
We miss you Bill!

Two years today, still missing you Bill.

I can't believe it's been almost 2 years since Bill's passing. I think of him often -- wondering what he would think about this Elvis item or that Elvis book. Sometimes I find myself saying "I'll read it in my next EW" and then reality hits. Connie, through Bill's writings, I felt like you and the family were long lost relatives. I still feel that way and think of you often. Take care.
