Fred Douglas Williams, 86, died December 28, 2012. He is survived by devoted daughter and son- in- law, Cassandra and Wilbert Taylor; grandchildren, Delano Taylor, Kori Taylor, great-granddaughter, London Pickens, sister-in-law, Grenette Hughes; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends, especially in Williamson County. Fred was born in Franklin, TN and resided there until after the death of his loving wife Mattie in 2009. He then moved to Memphis where he lived in the home of his daughter until his death. A memorial service will be held at Beulah Baptist Church, 2407 Douglass Ave. on January 2, 11 a.m.-12 p.m., family hour, memorial at noon. Cassandra, I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I remember "Mr. Fred" being the most dependable cab driver in Franklin. He was always smiling, helpful, and didn't mind coming to our house way up in the country to pick up my sister Mary for work. My prayers go out to you and your family during this most difficult time.
