As I face my first Christmas in forty years without you, you face your first Christmas with Christ. The joy is bittersweet.I am not going to say that there are no more tears to cry because there are...and there will be more. But, I will always love you/ Your lost husband.

I'm sorry that I have so little knowledge of Sara, but from what I remember of her from my early 20's, she was a very vibrant and giving person. Jimmy, if you get this, I apologize for not making it to the funeral.

I knew Sara only for a short time, although we went to the same school. I came to know her as a very delightful lady.
To Jimmy, my friend & brother in Christ, and to your family, You are in my prayers, thoughts & heart.
This separation is only for a short time.
The Grace of our Lord and your very fond memories of Sara will see you through this difficult time until the Lord reunites you in Glory.

I praise God for Sara! She was a dear friend and supporter of our mission at Mt. Vernon, you might say " A driving force". Her faith is her Victory, a race well run! May God's Love give us comfort, Your servant in Christ Jesus , Rev. Robert A. (Chip) Smith
