Semmes was a dear friend of mine and I will never forget the trip Hughes, Semmes, Boxell, and I took to Hilton Head. We walked the beach and laughed, discussed the world's problems, laughed again and ate well. Hughes was definitely one of a kind and I will never forget him. Peace be with you.
