Dr. Foner was the epitome of an honorable man. Though brilliant, he was an humble man. We are blessed to have known him. Our sincere sympathy to his wife and family and to all who knew and loved this dear man.

Our family lived nearby when Dr. Foner's office was on Overton Park. He took care of our family with loving care, kindness, humor and brilliance in his medical practice, as in all his other endeavors. He was an exceptional man. God bless his family.

Dr. Foner took care of my mother's mother, Granny, and her sister. I will always appreciate the great care and compassion he had for them and the other patients at St. Joseph's Hospital. I loved seeing him in the halls and when he came to the ER. He was a great doctor, and very compassionate to his patients. I know those who see him in heaven will greet him with open arms and a loving heart!

I will always hold dear the memories of the music Max & Ellie played in their home for family.

Dr Foner was one of life's true gentlemen. He was always very approachable and kind when his services were needed by a young Irish RN in St Josephs' hospital during 1993/1994. RIP

I worked with Dr. Foner for over twenty years and never met a more concerned M.D.
What impressed me the most was his dedication. If he had a patient in trouble, he would stay at the hospital until the crisis was over one way or the other, even if it meant staying overnight.
I will miss you Max.
