I knew Steve through my husband, Jason Taylor. He was a sweet, kind man and will be missed. Our prayers will be with his family during this hard time of loss.

Penne, Kurt, Konner and family,

May GOD bless and bring peace to you all in this time of sorrow. Although we drifted over the years, I've always considered Steve a close personal friend. I often think of the great times we had during those marathon poker games…where Steve introduced me to the Bramlett family. Or, when Penne called and I would have to go to the house and beat on the windows forever (it seemed) to get Steve awake in time to make it to the “jail house”. You will always hold a special place in my heart – my friend.

With much love,

Steve was the President of the Memphis Travelers when my son John first entered the organization at age 8. Dennis and I will be forever thankful for the great role model he was for my son. Penne, I love you and your sweet family and am praying for God's peace in the coming days.

Steve was the SRO at Shadowlawn, Cordova and Arlington, where my daughters attended school. He was a great role model for the students. Steve talked to my girls about their softball, volleyball and basketball teams and was there to cheer them on. Always a smile on his face and a heart of gold, just a good old "frayser boy". He will be missed.

I think I can speak for everyone that knew Officer Bramlett at Cordova High School when I say, he was one of the most genuine and caring individuals we ever knew. He cared very much for all of the students safety and always helped many of us stay out of trouble in our youthful years. He will truly be missed but never forgotten! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
