Thomas Yang Edward Hatcher, beloved son, grandson, and brother, was born in Incheon, South Korea on May 10, 2010. ~To Pastor, Mrs. Hatcher, Family and Friends of
Thomas Yang Edward Hatcher~
Always Remember...
Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
During periods of grief and sorrow, I have always found comfort in the following passage entitled:
The Plan of the Master Weaver...It reads as follows..
Our lives are but fine weavings that God and we prepare. Each life becomes a fabric planned and fashioned in His care.
We may not always see just how the weavings intertwine,
But we must trust the Master's hand and follow His design, For He can view the pattern upon the upper side..While we must look from underneath and trust His hand to guide.
Sometimes a strand of sorrow is added to His plan,
And though it's difficult for us, we still must understand...
That it's He who fills the shuttle, it's He who knows what's best...
So we must weave in patience and leave to Him the rest.
Not till the loom is silent and the shuttles cease to fly...Shall God unroll the canvas and explain the reason why...
The dark threads are as needed in the Weaver's skillful hand...As the threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned

I am so very sorry for your loss... your heartache is impossible to imagine. I do not know you personally, but Timothy's passing is felt by the entire Lutheran family by whom you find yourselves embraced at this time, including those of us who don't know you personally. It is obvious Thomas was loved by so many, and he apparently brought joy to everyone around him in his short life. Now he finds himself in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. God bless you and all your family.
