Duke, 165 days until Cannon opens... To the Imman family, my deepest condolences, not a day goes by that I don't lean on the lessons learned over four decades.
To Duke's OR family, please contact me. You all were very special to Duke & I'd love to meet you. David 6035488204

I thought I left a message a month ago, but now I don't see it. Anyways, pretty much everything I've accomplished in the last couple decades could be traced back to decisions Duke helped me make so long ago. He had the backs of everyone good. Nothing but good times. The coolest of the cool. Ain't no mountain big enough! I'll miss you always.

Duke will forever be my good friend. When I was hired at Pike he trained me. He knew I didnt have a vehicle and offered to driver me too and from work everyday. He said it was on his way so he didn't mind. Later I found out that he lived all the way in Webster and he would drive out of his way to get me. Not many people would do that and not expect anything in return besides good conversation. In fact he wouldn't even allow me to give him gas money. I would have to hide money for him in his desk at work. The things I will miss the most until we meet again are all the laughs we shared. I loved the stories about his life. I will miss being able to just blurt out a line from Seinfeld and hearing him laugh then finish the line. I will miss all the stories about the board meetings in his town. I am sure a lot of you know what I mean. I am so greatful that he was able to find love before he left us. The last time I spoke with him all he talked about was his girlfriend and how happy both he and Chester were.
I will miss you Duke

My heart goes out to all of Dukes friends and family. I like to think that he is shredding the gnar of the cosmos with all of the Hoodlums that have passed before him. RIP Duke.
