I enjoyed my conversations with Doug about the outdoors and life in general here in Wisconsin.--Cheryl Wardell
June 27, 2014
Doug was my brother-in-law.I have been married to his sister Margaret for 20+ years.Since the first time I met him, I knew him to be a kind, gentle and humble man.He loved to give unique gifts to people for birthdays and Christmas. He loved books and sent some to Margaret and I that were unique and sometimes hard to find. Most were books that were related to our specific interest. He seemed to know what to say at the right time.He was very helpful and had some good advice.I knew Doug to be strong in his faith.Doug loved God,He confessed and knew that Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior! I have no doubt that he is in heaven now and that he knew that he would be going there some day.It is sad though that his life was short, but wonderful that he gave so much of himself.May God bless his two children, Daniel and Sylvia who will continually be in our prayers.
Doug will truly be missed by all who knew him.
His Brother- in-law,
Bill Ketzenberg
