Gertie, we'll miss you. We send our love to all her family on this sad occasion.

Sending prayers and heartfelt sympathy to the entire Walsh Family. I have many fond memories of visiting with Gertie through the years. Always a kind and gentle soul , who adored her family and the children at school. Gertie enjoyed sharing those wonderful home grown vegetables and was so proud of her garden. A special lady indeed!

The attached photo is from a Walsh Family reunion in 2006. Aunt Gertie made a point that day of telling her me & her sons that she wanted to head back to Reese River, Nevada to visit once more. About a year later with no family crisis on the horizon, she and her family ( and I ) headed to the old family desert homestead. Aunt Gertie at age 84, hung in there from early morning to late night, finishing the day gambling in Fernley, Nev.

Aloha, Aunt Gert - say howdy to Uncle Joe
