Mary Jo was President of Chi Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta when I was initiated in 1969. She was funny, wise, and a true leader -- at a time when it was often difficult for women to exercise leadership. I looked up to her so much in the brief time I knew her, and I was so sad to learn today she had entered Chapter Grand. My most sincere condolences to her family.
Mary Jo was the energetic leader of our golfing "dream team." Each day she showed all of us how to live our lives with enthusiasm and play each round of golf with joy and gusto. She will be missed. I will remember her with joy during each invitational.
Mary Jo was my accountant, and I so enjoyed her each time I saw her. She was extrememly kind to me when my husband died and was a great help as well. I will miss her very much.
Mortar Board was proud to claim Mary Jo as a member. On behalf of the National Council and Board of Trustees, I offer deep sympathy and the most sincere regard for the way that she lived Mortar Board's Ideals every day--
Mary Jo was one of the funniest people I have ever met. She always made me laugh . I will miss her so much. The world is a much darker place without her.
