Bill was a great sportsman, worked out hard and caught many fish with his friends, He was very proud of his family. he will be missed but not forgotten. I know the fish trembled when he looked into the waters.

great sense of humor, always smiling. But, he lost that smile once. I being a HANDBALL PLAYER, told Bill, that I would rather have lost a game of HANDBALL, than ever have played a game of racquetball. He almost punched me out, but that great smile and laughter came back.

Dear Sondra and Melissa
I worked with Bill for many years first met him about 22 years ago when I worked for the City of Pinole and continued to work with him on many projects in my current job at Dublin/San Ramon Scvs. Attended A's games with him on many occasions and the only foul ball i ever caught at a major league game resulted from tickets that Bill gave me. We laughed about that every time we met after that. I will miss his personality, great guy, one of a kind as I am sure you know. Always fun memories of him.
Wishing you All the best, may his smile and personality give you joy in you time of sorrow.
Super guy! Fishing, hiking, RB, flying and much more in Canada, Alaska and Mexico. Great times! I'll miss him.
Bill was a friend borne from many intense hours on the court. His always present humor and smile were gateways to his special character. I remember how excited and proud he was when Melissa received the scholarship for softball. A great guy, a great friend.

I have known Bill for many years from the Walnut Creek Racquetball Club. He was there every night of the week playing and talking to every one with that big smile like in this picture.
Just a great Guy that you don't come across that often. I am sorry for your loss.

Dear Sondra and Melissa, I knew Bill through many years and hundreds of games of racquetball at the Walnut Creek Club and Big C. There is an old saying that sports do not build character, they reveal it. While the rest of us revealed our flaws, Bill seemed to be the best at taking both winning and losing in stride and keeping a sense of humor. It's a lesson I appreciate even more now, thanks Bill.
It is so sad to hear of Bill's passing. Bill always had a smile on his face and something good to say. He was a good friend to all of us. Bill was the most physically fit in our group of RB players. I had always thought that he would be the last of our group that would be physically able to continue playing RB. Now Bill is playing in a better place. We miss you.

I knew Bill only by knowing his daughter. He had to have been a spectacular man, I could tell Melissa adored him. I hope his pain has silenced and his family can find comfort in that.
Bill was a great co-worker. He had so much knowledge and experience but treated everyone as a valuable part of the project. He was so funny too. We always seemed to end up in the breakroom together and he'd harass me for using the wrong hand (lefty like him). Come fall you could always count on him for some football banter and come March/April he'd join you to rant about your respective brackets. I'll miss him a lot. Everyone that knew him will.
I only got to know Bill for 12 years, and I thought we would have many more years together. Cherish every day, life is too short, especially for Bill. He was a best friend and I held him close to my heart. We had so much in common. Bill, I hope your next shot is a rollout and your next fish is a big one. Rest in peace.
Bill was an absolutely great guy to work with and I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to spend some time with him over the last couple years. A great teacher, storyteller, and mentor. He will be missed by many whose lives he touched. My sincere sympathies to his family and friends.
Bill was an awesome friend. I loved him like a brother.
Dear Sondra & Melissa, I am so sad to hear of Bill's passing - he was truly a wonderful guy. I know that Bob welcomed his old buddy with open arms and a challenge. My prayers are with you ~ Cheryle Foskett
