I first met Miner, Glenna and Keith back in 1975, when I moved into the house across the street from them. Miner was always there to lend a helping hand, give advice or just listen. Well, after he listened then he'd give advice. Did I mention he was good at that? He always had a smile and a wave ready. Although my family moved away in 1985, we managed to stay in touch for quite a while. In recent years, we only got together during big life events, (weddings, graduations etc.,)but the Ashcrafts continued to be a nice big chunk of my life. Now there's a big chunk missing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
