Oh my goodness, I forgot to leave you a message for Christmas. It was a sad day because your cousin Sharon passed away at 2:00 A.M. that morning. Josh and I toasted one another at dinner and he said "And to all of the family who are not with us today" Made me think of you, my brothers and sister and of course Grandma. You are with each of them now, that must make you happy. Merry Christmas my son, i love you so.

Randy this is a wonderful gift I received from my friend John from Illinois.
John Lincoln Alft, My grand-daughter Ani gave me a little stuffed cat to take to the Rainbow, and we named it Randy. I made sure everywhere we circled up that Randy was with us. This year by the theater, they put up a Spirit House, a yurt with a parachute dome, and inside were mementos of Rainbows who had passed on. We left the cat there on July 4. It was a magical spot in a magical gathering, Shirley ?

Waiting at the Door
I can’t explain so deep inside
The very fabric of my soul
Only a heart that grieves such loss
Can ever truly understand
It’s like you’re waiting at the door
Until a loved one comes back home
You feel a longing in your heart
When they appear the longing stops
But in a loss that never ends
You’re always standing at that door
You feel the longing in the breeze
So incomplete and never filled
I cannot find the words to say
Just what it’s like to want forever
Never seeing them again
Just always waiting at the door

Randy,
Every time I read this guest book, I hope you know that you were loved. I can feel the loss that your family and friends are experiencing. I pray that you know we all cared about you. Sometimes, in our lives we make mistakes and the good seems to fade in the background for a time. However, in the end only love remains. I am so thankful, that you and I had come to know each other and to love each other. I wish I could have been there for you and helped you. But know without a doubt that you are not forgotten and I send you on your way with love and blessings.
Love,
Donna

Life Unbroken
Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped into the next room.
I am I, and you are you:
Whatever we were to each other, we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name; Speak to me in the easy way you always used
Put no difference into your tone;
Wear no air of solemnity or sorrow;
Laugh as we always laughed
At the little jokes we enjoyed together;
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever
The household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effect; Without the ghost of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was.
There is absolutely unbroken continuity.
What is this death but negligible accident?
Why should I be out of mind
I am but waiting for you,
For an interval, somewhere, very near
Just around the corner.
All is well.
by Harry Scott-Holland.
You will never be forgotten
A part of you lives on in your daughter, your two sons and grandson

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
